Welcome to North Devon Hawk Walks. A ONE HOUR HAWK WALK COSTS JUST £30 for a group of three people. So, whether there are one, two or three of you, it still costs only £30. We offer visitors of all ages the opportunity to experience at first hand the thrill of falconry in North Devon. This can take the form of a walk on Exmoor, or through beautiful fields and woods, accompanied by Lady Macbeth and Saffie, both female Harris Hawks, and Cassius our new young male hawk. They will demonstrate their flying ability for you, while you learn something of the history and practice of this ancient and fascinating sport. North Devon, and Exmoor in particular, is an ideal place take part in this ancient country sport. The birds will allow you to feed them, carry them and help exercise them so that they keep in top hunting condition. The birds are extremely photogenic so remember to bring your camera with you. If you would like something more exciting, you can accompany Saffie and Macbeth, together with their handler and an entourage of ferrets and a pointer as we hunt rabbits and pheasants. However, this is only available between September and March.
